Venture Capitalists are normal people. At least, some are.

Anthill Magazine provided me the pleasure of chatting with Peter Davison, one of the original investors in Paypal and the man who has just started nurturing wide-eyed idea-inspired entrepreneurs through the Fishburners incubator in Sydney. Peter managed to forge a successful career as a VC in Silicon Valley, beginning with nothing but a business card. It proves that it"s not "what you know", nor is it "who you know", it"s how many people you can convince that you know what you"re doing. It no doubt helped that he"s a great bloke.

I hope you enjoy this interview. I have a face for radio and probably a voice for silent movies. If you can get past that, you might absorb some of Peter"s wisdom.
